Reggie Naidoo has worked for many decades in the fields of entrepreneurship and enterprise development. He has exposure within the areas of Development Finance, Asset Management, Treasury, Venture Capital, Reinsurance, ICT, Airlines, Shipping, Loyalty Programmes, Media, Cinema, Food and SMME training. His significant achievements over the years include:

  • Founder of IBEC (Independent Enrichment Business Centre) and IBFC (Independent Business Finance Centre), providing training and finance to hawkers, SMME’s and the unemployed in SA
  • Group Executive Chairman of the Age Group
  • Managing Director of Decillion Treasury Management Services, and joint Managing Director of Decillion SA
  • Economic adviser to the Speaker of Parliament to Iran
  • Expert adviser to the panel on SMME finance to Minister Rob Davies (Department of Trade and Industry)
  • Chair of the Africa Board of Trustees of the Brien Holden Vision Institute
  • Deputy Chair of SAMTRA (SA Maritime Training Academy)

    Vani Moodley has worked for over almost three decades in SME development, both in South Africa and various countries. Her professional highlights include:

  • Chief Executive – Vani Moodley and Associates – a global enterprise, leadership and management training, coaching and development company
  • Accredited service provider to Seda National Learning Academy, Seda Provincial offices, the DTI national offices, The World Bank International Finance Corporation, The International Labour Organisation, GIZ and others.

  • Board member and non-executive Director of the Durban Chamber Foundation.
  • Member of the UKZN Extended Learning Advisory Board; Member of the DUT Entrepreneurship and Management Advisory Board
  • Founder Member and Chairman of the Board of Women Building our Africa (WBoA) Financial Services Primary Cooperative Limited licensed by the Reserve Bank of South Africa in July 2020.
  • Past Vice President of the Durban Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI); Past Chairman of the DCCI Women in Business Forum; Past Chairman of the Businesswomen’s Association in Durban and served on the national board of the organization.
  • Khathutshelo Percy Mashige

    Chairman

    Professor Khathutshelo Percy Mashige is a professor in the School of Health Sciences at UKZN. As a qualified optometrist, he has contributed significantly to medical science research, and is a C2 National Research Foundation rated scientist, and has been further recognised by the South Africa Optometrist Association (SAOA) for significant achievement in the pursuit, advancement and application of science. He is the Associate Editor of the UK-based journal, BMC Ophthalmology, and serves on the Editorial Advisory Committee of the South African Health Review journal. His expertise in the NPO sector, having served as the chairperson of the Community Self Mastery Coaching Institute and on the Africa Board of the Brien Holden Vision Institute, is a credit to this organisation.







    Natheran Ramsarup

    Executive Secretariat

    Natheran (Nad) Ramsarup is a passionate advocate for people with disabilities, and is the founder of the Brightness Beyond Blindness NPC. He has served as the Deputy Director for the Rehabilitation and Development Department, and has served as a coordinator and member of task teams focused on education and disability in the Department of Basic Education and the KZN Blind and Deaf Society. He is also an award-winning telephonist, with two handbooks on workplace etiquette.
